GYPSY offers a double V-berth forward, and salon settees port and starboard that convert into single and double berths respectively. Her galley has a stove, double sink, refrigeration and hot water. Electronics include VHF and sideband radios, 24-mile radar, Loran/GPS, auto pilot, speed log and weather fax. She has four working sails, inflatable dingy with 5HP outboard, extensive safety gear, and three anchors. Other features include a head with shower, air conditioning and 5KW generator. |

of 'semi-custom' cruising vessels for over 25 years. The Shannon
37CB is no longer made. It was replaced by a 39-foot boat -- the

SHANNON TRIVIA: The movie 'Romancing the Stone' ends when Michael Douglas visits Cathleen Turner's New York Apartment towing his dream boat -- a fully rigged Shannon cutter. In the movie 'Message in a Bottle' there is a scene with a Shannon 38 tied to a dock. And actor Morgan Freeman, an avid sailor, owns a 43-foot Shannon that he has sailed througout the Atlantic. |
